Virginia's public safety agencies held the Virginia Public Safety Expo to exhibit public safety resources and serve as a benefit for the Virginia Disaster Relief Fund. This fund was established by Governor Bob McDonnell to help Virginians recover from natural disasters. Local, state and federal public safety employees attended the event which featured demonstrations, training, lunch and a bake sale. The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) provided training on "Vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Devices" and "Criminal Flash Mobs". DCJS raised more than $800 to benefit the Virginia Disaster Relief Fund.
