(FY 2016 - 2017) Virginia Sexual & Domestic Violence Victim Fund - Prosecution

You are invited to apply for continuation funding from the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Victim Fund for fiscal years 2016-2017.  Each current prosecution grantee is permitted to request up to $5,000 in additional funding for each fiscal year.  For example, if your program received $40,000 in calendar year 2014, you may request up to $45,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $45,000 in fiscal year 2017.

The following factors along with compliance with general grant conditions and assurances will be used to determine your eligibility for continuation funding:

  • Successful implementation of grant
  • Adequate performance based on review of statistical reports submitted by grantees
  • Timely and accurate submission of quarterly progress and financial reports to DCJS
  • Policy development and training
  • Evidence of community collaboration

Policy development and training and evidence of community collaboration are outlined on the Prosecution Continuation Request Form.  This information is being requested to inform DCJS of the program’s protocols and policies, to assess the level of training received, and to evaluate the level of community collaboration and cooperation as it relates to the VSDVVF-funded program and staff.  Should you need assistance completing this information, please contact your DCJS grant monitor for assistance.
