Listing of Grants Awarded Fiscal Year 2001
 

During state fiscal year 2001, the Criminal Justice Services Board gave approval to 1036 grants in 19 programs managed by DCJS. During the spring grant cycle, the awarded programs were Byrne, Court Appointed Special Advocates, Community Corrections, Community Policing, Drug Courts, Juvenile Accountability Block Grant, Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Title II and Title V, Pre-Release and Post Incarceration Services, Public Inebriate Center, Residential Substance Abuse Treatment, Domestic Violence and Child Victimization Program, Sexual Assault Grant Program, Regional Training Academies and Victim Witness Assistance. These grants were awarded for the period July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001. During the fall grant cycle, the following programs were approved: Criminal History Records Improvement, Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grants, and Virginia Exile. These grants were awarded for the period January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2001. Also awarded were grants for the Local Law Enforcement Grant program. These grants have periods of either January 1, 2001 through September 30, 2001 or April 1, 2001, to December 31, 2001.
