The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to partner with Dr. John More, CEO of Response Law, LLC, to offer an opportunity to attend a one-day workshop titled “Managing Students and Parents in Difficult Situations: School Tactics that Work” Dr. More will provide a comprehensive look at defining legal roles and authority in the school setting, while adhering to legal standards.

This training is being offered at no cost to K-12 school administrators, central office personnel, school security officers, and law enforcement serving in schools.
Law enforcement officers serving in schools and school security officers who complete this training are eligible to receive partial in-service credit hours.
There is no fee to attend this workshop and all training materials will be provided for registrants.
Participants are responsible for their transportation, meals, and lodging arrangements and expenses.
Pre-registration is required. Please note that the DCJS registration system does not have the capacity to sort eligible from ineligible registrants. Therefore, anyone who registers will receive a confirmation. It is the responsibility of the DCJS assigned course director to review the roster and make a final determination on acceptance into the course. Registrants not accepted will be notified via the email address provided during registration.
