The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, Division of Regulatory Affairs involves the oversight and enforcement of four regulatory programs to include: Private Security Services; Bail Bondsmen; Bail Enforcement Agents; and Special Conservators of the Peace. The Division is dedicated to providing excellent customer service to our constituents and professionals serving the private side of public safety.
We do not accept cash payments. Payments may be made using a check, money order or credit/debit card. Credit/debit card payments must be made using the Credit Card Authorization form. Credit card payments cannot be made over the phone.
SPECIAL NOTICE: Due to technical difficulties, DCJS is not sending Renewal Notices at this time. Mailing of Renewal Notices will resume soon. Please ensure you submit renewals for your credentials at least 30 days before your expiration date to avoid delays in receiving your credentials.
