The goal of this conference is to share information throughout the higher education community regarding best practices and available technology to improve security on Virginia’s college and university campuses and to demonstrate the Governor’s commitment to raising the level of campus security throughout higher education in the Commonwealth.
The target audience of 250-300 participants will be from Virginia’s 69 degree-granting two- and four-year public and private colleges and universities, including representatives from the presidents’ offices, security/police, emergency management, health, information technology and student government.
There is no charge for conference registration, but attendees and their respective institutions will be responsible for their own transportation and lodging. Lunch will be provided the day of the conference. Parking information will be provided prior to the event date.
