The 2012 Virginia Victim Witness Basic Program Management and Grant Renewal Training

Course Description

The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2012 Virginia Victim Witness Program Management and Grant Renewal Training.

We will offer group sessions in addition to both basic and intermediate breakout sessions on the first day. The second day will be devoted to reviewing grant guidelines and the application process. There will also be opportunities for program staff to meet individually with their grant monitors throughout the training.

Registration will open on Tuesday, March 27 at 8:30 a.m. The opening session will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and we will end at 4:30 p.m. On Wednesday, March 28, 2012 individual grant monitors will be available for technical assistance. The training will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the grant guidelines and application portion of the training will begin at 10:00 a.m. The training should conclude by 11:45 a.m.

The training will be held at the Holiday Inn Koger Conference Center, 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23235.

Our host hotel is the Holiday Inn Koger Conference Center, 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23235. The Holiday Inn is offering a conference room rate of $83.00. When making reservations please use group code (PMT) in order to receive the discount rate. A continental breakfast will be served both days to registered participants. Lunch will be served to registered participants the first day of training. Participants are responsible for their transportation, lodging, and all additional meal costs.
