This multidisciplinary conference will bring together mental health clinicians, victim advocates, social workers, law enforcement, and other allied professionals to discuss best practices for assisting male victims of domestic and sexual violence, engaging men and boys to become successful advocates against violence, and teaching men to build healthy relationships to prevent incidents of abuse.
The conference will include both plenary and breakout sessions featuring local, state, and national speakers. Presentations will include topics such as helping survivors build resiliency, special issues regarding male survivors and underserved populations, male human trafficking survivors, engaging men and boys in violence prevention, and positive masculinity.
