This two-hour webinar will focus on putting the “T” back in Field TRAINING officer. It has been argued no more important title or rank exists in any law enforcement organization than that of a Field Training Officer. Evaluation is certainly a key component of any successful FTO program, but the training component should be just as important. The following topics will be discussed:
This webinar is well suited for command staff, supervisors, and current and potential FTO’s. Actual case studies will be discussed to bolster the learning objectives.
This webinar is open to sworn law enforcement officers and training administrators.
Partial In-Service Credit is not available for this course.
There is no fee to attend this webinar.
Pre-registration is required. Please note that the DCJS registration system does not have the capacity to sort eligible from ineligible registrants. Therefore, anyone who registers will receive a confirmation. It is the responsibility of the DCJS assigned course director to review the roster and make a final determination on acceptance into the course. Registrants not accepted will be notified via the email address provided during registration.
