The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, in partnership with the Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) and the Northeast Counterdrug Training Center (NCTC), is pleased to announce Bulletproof Mind training on July 24, 2019 at Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave, Virginia. This eight (8) hour course will cover: Post-Traumatic Stress indicators and management; surviving gunshot wounds; survivor guilt, new killers in the 21st century, important drills that nobody practices; violent visual imagery; reality vs. fantasy; games that are more dangerous than movies. This training is limited to the first 250 participants.
About the Instructor: LT. COL. DAVE GROSSMAN, U.S. Army (Ret.) Director, Warrior Science Group, www.killology.com: Member, American Board for Certification in Homeland Security; Member, American College of Forensic Examiners Institute. Lt. Col. Grossman is an internationally recognized scholar, author, soldier, and speaker who is one of the world's foremost experts in the field of human aggression and the roots of violence and violent crime.
This training is open to all sworn law enforcement officers.
Partial In-service Credit (PIC) for law enforcement officers will be available.
Registration begins at 7:30 AM
Training will be from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Transportation, lodging, and meals are the responsibility of the student.
There is no registration fee to attend this training.
