The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) in collaboration with Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) is pleased to announce the “Commercial Motor Vehicle Drug Interdiction Assistance Program” training, presented by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
This tuition free, 24-hour course is intended to familiarize and update law enforcement and Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) safety officials who perform or intend to perform CMV counter-crime activities, tactics and criminal interdiction techniques involving everyday CMV traffic in transit.

This training is open to sworn law enforcement officers and Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) safety officials (LEO Only).
Partial In-service Credit (PIC) for Virginia law enforcement officers will be available for this course.
There is no cost to attend this training, however pre-registration is required.
