The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the virtual training “Guardianships and Alternatives for Survivors with Disabilities.”
This training, presented by attorney Dana Traynham of the disAbility Law Center of Virginia, will focus on how to recognize possible incapacity when working with people with disabilities. Dana will discuss how to best support and respond to someone with questionable capacity to make decisions about important topics such as safety planning, legal proceedings, and treatment options.
