Joseph Thompson joined DCJS in May 2022 as the Grants Compliance Supervisor in the Division of Administration and Finance - Grants Management.  He supervises the monitoring of the agency’s federal and state grants. Previously, he was responsible for general accounting and grants management for the Department of Education. Joseph received his undergraduate degree from Hampton University and completed his Master of Accountancy from Virginia Commonwealth University.
