Ms. Evers oversees the five elements of the school safety audit process including the annual secondary school climate survey. She also tracks the departmental budget and plans and develops conferences and trainings in the areas of K-12 school safety including active shooter, anti-bullying, climate improvement, emergency planning, gang prevention and awareness, human trafficking, mental health awareness, social media, suicide prevention, threat assessment, trauma informed care, and legal issues.
