Public Notice - Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program

NOTICE
The Department of Criminal Justice Services has submitted an application to the Bureau of Justice Assistance of the U.S. Department of Justice to obtain federal fiscal year 2021 funding available through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program. The application was submitted on July 22, 2021. 
 
The Department applied for $3,915,108 and will use these funds to make grants to localities, state agencies and nonprofit organizations to support law enforcement, prosecution and judicial programs; crime prevention and education programs; corrections and community corrections programs; drug treatment programs; and technology improvement programs.  
 
The application to the Bureau of Justice Assistance is available for public review at the Department’s office at 1100 Bank Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219; and comments from the public are welcome.
