As the Virginia Center for School and Campus Safety celebrates 25 years of dedicated service to Virginia educators and public safety personnel, we are pleased to announce the theme of this year's milestone forum, “Fostering Resilient Schools: Integrating Culture, Climate, and Safety Strategies." Participants will have the opportunity to hear from renowned experts on a multitude of topics related to school safety and learn how to build stronger school communities as the world around us continues to change and advance every day.

Pre-Conference Reunification Exercise: July 28, 2025
- Workshop sessions will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
- Check-in will begin at 12:00 pm
Main Conference: July 29 - July 30, 2025
- Keynote presentations and workshop sessions will be held daily from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Check-in will begin at 7:00 am each day.

The registration fee includes access to our half-day pre-conference reunification exercise, main conference keynote and breakout presentations, and catered lunch on both main conference days.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds will be given for cancellations made after July 14th, 2025. Click here to cancel registration or to name a replacement.
Lodging, Meals, and Travel
For the convenience of our participants, DCJS has secured blocks of rooms at several hotels at the state rate of $110 a night plus applicable taxes and fees. For more information on lodging, please visit our CONFERENCE LODGING INFORMATION AND RESERVATIONS page.
Participants will be provided lunch on July 29th and 30th.
Please note: DCJS is not responsible for participant travel and lodging expenses.
Vendor Registration: $250 per organization (CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE OUR VENDOR INTEREST FORM)
Vendors of school safety-related products and services are invited to participate in the conference for a fee of $250 per organization. Non-profits or SWaM-certified vendors are eligible for a discounted rate of $125. All vendors must complete our vendor interest form to receive a registration link.
- The registration fee includes an open-skirted table, electricity, Wi-Fi, and admission into conference sessions. Due to space, we only allow up to 2 representatives per organization at each table.
- Hardwired internet is available upon request for an additional charge
School Safety Highlights
We want to share your success stories! We are encouraging participants to submit stories, pictures, or videos highlighting the success stories, big and small, that you achieved in the 2024-2025 school year! These highlights will be shared at the 2025 School Safety Training Forum and may be highlighted in future Virginia Center for School and Campus Safety Quarterly Newsletter issues. - Student Ambassador Video
- PreK-12, public or private, students and staff are invited to showcase their efforts at making schools safer by creating and submitting a video of what school safety means to them.
- Highlight from the Field
- All conference participants are invited to showcase how you or others support school safety in your school, division, or locality.
Partial In-Service Credit
Law enforcement officers will receive partial in-service credit hours for this forum.
School Security Officers and Campus Security Officers will receive in-service training credit for this forum.
