The Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office received their Initial Accreditation Award under Sheriff John A. Beauchamp's leadership.  Their Accreditation Manager is Doc Lyons. Award presented by Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security, Robert "Bob" Mosier and the Director of the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, Jackson Miller.
