The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce an in-person “School Safety and Security In-Person Roundtable.” We will provide DCJS updates, our new online learning management system, and results from the annual school safety survey. This in-person roundtable will be a time for division leadership from across the Commonwealth to come together in a collaborative environment to discuss relevant issues in real time with other school division professionals.

Intended Audience

This roundtable discussion is intended for school division employees serving as administrators, security directors, emergency managers, or any other appropriate safety related position. We encourage law enforcement serving as supervisors of a school resource unit to attend as well with their school division leadership for collaboration during our breakout session.

Partial In-service Credit:

Partial In-service Credit (PIC) will not be available.

Cost and Registration

There is no fee to attend, however pre-registration is required.

Travel, Lodging and Meals:

Participants are responsible for their transportation, lodging arrangements, and expenses.
