The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce the 2026 First Responder Wellness Pre-Conference: Peak Performance Blueprint: Energy, Focus, and Flow for First Responders in Hampton, VA on September 1, 2025.

This dynamic, interactive course, presented by NOTA Fitness & Wellness, combines the best strategies from four critical wellness areas to help you thrive on and off the job. You will learn how to tap into the "flow" state for peak performance, conquer fatigue with practical energy-boosting tips, master mindfulness techniques to stay present and focused, and manage your time like a pro. Walk away with the tools to take control of your day, boost your resilience, and perform at your best—every shift, every time.

Who should attend:

This conference is open to all first responder groups, including but not limited to, law enforcement, fire/EMS, EMTs, dispatchers and corrections. This conference is also open to retired first responders as well as civilian peer support and mental health clinicians who are culturally competent in first responder wellness.

Partial In-service Credit:

Law enforcement officers who complete this training are eligible to receive partial in-service credit hours.
