Ms. Griffith is the Training Coordinator for the Adult Justice Programs section of the Department of Criminal Justice Services. In this role, she coordinates and facilitates training for all new Local Probation and Pretrial Services officers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. She provides technical assistance and/or training for 37 local agencies established uner the Community Corrections Act for Local-Responsible Offenders (CCCA) and Pretrial Services Act (PSA) grants. Amanda has over 10 years experience in the local probation and pretrial services field. Prior to her employment at the Department of Criminal Justice Services she served as a Director of a CCCA/PSA agency from 2015-2021. She is a graduate of Radford University with a BA in Political Science with minors in History and Criminal Justice, and a MA in Criminal Justice from Radford University.
