The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, in partnership with the Office of Attorney General and the Henrico Police Department, is pleased to announce a specialized training course, Advanced Investigations into Sex Trafficking: Proactive Operations, Deterrence and Victim Identification.
This training is for sworn current law enforcement officers who investigate and prosecutors who prosecute sex trafficking, organized prostitution activity, forced labor, and closely related crimes, and who are interested in learning some of the techniques used effectively by experienced investigators of trafficking cases.

Partial In-service Credit
Law enforcement officers will receive 15 PIC hours. Please note: PIC hours are an estimate and may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
There is no cost to attend this course.
Transportation, meals and lodging are the responsibility of the participant.
The class will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Day 1 and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. on Day 2, with a one-hour break for lunch each day. Lunch will be on your own. Sign in begins at 7:30 a.m.
Pre-registration is required.
Please note that the DCJS registration system does not have the capacity to sort eligible from ineligible registrants. Therefore, anyone who registers will receive a confirmation. It is the responsibility of the DCJS assigned course director to review the roster and make a final determination on acceptance into the course. Registrants not accepted will be notified via the email address provided during registration.
