Procurement Opportunities

Procurement opportunities for the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) are posted on the eVA website.  eVA is the Commonwealth of Virginia’s online, electronic procurement system that streamlines and automates government purchasing activities in the Commonwealth. The eVA e-procurement system is used by state agencies and institutions (such as colleges and universities) and many local governments; and is the gateway for vendors to conduct business with state agencies and institutions.  All vendors desiring to provide goods and/or services to Commonwealth of Virginia state agencies and institutions must register to participate in the eVA e-procurement system. All responses to DCJS procurement solicitations must be submitted electronically using the eVA system.  Responses cannot be received via hardcopy, email, or facsimile (FAX).  The following link will take you to the eVA website: https://eva.virginia.gov/index.html

All purchases, regardless of dollar value, are made in accordance with the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA) and the DGS/DPS Agency Procurement and Surplus Property Manual (APSPM).  This public body does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, § 2.2-4343.1 or against a bidder or offeror because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, political affiliation, or veteran status or any other basis prohibited by state law relating to discrimination in employment.  The DCJS is committed to providing opportunities for micro, small, women-owned, and minority-owned (SWaM) businesses to participate in the agency procurement process.
