Description of Training: The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services is pleased to announce that registration is now open for Implicit Bias: Redefining our Juvenile Justice Lens. This training will cover topics such as understanding our implicit bias, and developing recognition of how implicit bias operates and impacts decisions, along with developing an understanding of individual and system conflicts and how to move beyond them, and much more.

Location:  Two one-day trainings will be held at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy on Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22.

Participant Registration and Cost: Registration will open at 8:30am. The training will begin promptly at 9:00am and every effort will be made to end by 4:00pm.  The cost of the training is free; however, pre registration is required.  To register for either of these trainings, please click on the registration button above.
