Tisha is a probation subject matter expert with Adult Justice Programs. She is responsible for the administration of the Comprehensive Community Corrections Act (CCCA) and Pretrial Services Act (PSA) to include grants management, program planning, policy development and analysis; evidenced-based practices, quality-assurance, new initiatives and innovative practices in community supervision. Prior to DCJS, Tisha has over 25 years of experience in community based supervision as probation supervisor with Chesterfield Community Corrections Services and Henrico Community Corrections Program as a pretrial investigator/officer. Tisha has served and lead numerous boards, committees, and demonstrated an active role in moving the field forward. Tisha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Pre-Law with Virginia State University and Masters in Human Services/Criminal Justice from Capella University.
