Bio

Julia Fuller-Wilson is the State Victims Crisis Assistance and Response Coordinator and the VAWA Program Administrator at the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services.  Julia has over 25 years of experience in the field of victim services.  She currently manages and coordinates state crisis response efforts to victims following criminal mass casualty events.  She oversees the program, to include a response team of over 200 responders from across the state.  She has been a member of the Virginia State Crisis Response Team since 2009 and is certified as a NOVA trainer for Crisis Response. She has responded to the 5th Annual Remembrance of Virginia Tech, the Smith Mountain Lake shootings, the New River Community College shootings, the Washington County familicide, the Charlottesville Unite the Right aftermath, the Virginia Beach mass shooting, the shootings at UVA, and the Chesapeake Walmart shooting amongst others.

Julia received a B.S. in Sociology and Psychology from Charleston Southern University and a Master's in social work, with a concentration in Social Work Administration and Policy Practice, from Virginia Commonwealth University.
