Purpose of Funds:

To offer relevant school safety personnel within the relevant school division or law-enforcement agency and expenses related to the equipment necessary for relevant school safety personnel and the enhancement of the school-law enforcement partnership through training and programming. |
Program Goals:

The goal of this funding opportunity is to promote the safety of students and school staff through the use and implementation of positions and programming to prevent crime and violence. |
| Eligibility Requirements: |
Units of local government are eligible to apply for and receive these funds but School Resource Officer and School Security Officer grants will be given priority. |
| Match Requirements: |
Local match will be based on the Composite Index of Local Ability to Pay as determined by the Virginia Department of Education. |
