Description:

The 12I Compliance Agent In-Service Training course is a four (4) hour in-person training for current compliance agents of Private Security Businesses within the Commonwealth of Virginia.  This course satisfies the two-year training requirement for compliance agents.

During this course, you will:

  • Discuss the role of a compliance agent,
  • Review the Code of Virginia and the Virginia Administrative Code sections related to private security businesses, regulants, and compliance agents,
  • Utilize the Licensure and Regulatory Services webpage to respond to Frequently Asked Questions (FAWs) from regulated employees,
  • Identify the requirements for record keeping,
  • List the Business Audit process and the compliance agent responsibilities.

Travel, Lodging, and Meals

Participants are responsible for their transportation, meals, and lodging arrangements and expenses.

Cost and Registration

There is a fee of $50.00 to attend this training which must be satisfied prior to attending the course. Please use the Credentialling Management System to complete the renewal application and pay the training fee.
