Description:
This interactive General Instructor In Service course covers information that satisfies the In Service training requirements for Private Security instructions.

Within this course, you will:

  • review the Code of Virginia and Virginia Administrative Code sections related to instructors
  • discuss the role and responsibilities of DCJS Certified Instructors
  • discuss training delivery vs. presentations
  • discuss and develop and appropriate DCJS lesson plan

Travel, Lodging, and Meals

Participants are responsible for their transportation, meals, and lodging arrangements and expenses.

Cost and Registration

There is a fee of $50.00 to attend this training which must be satisfied prior to attending the course. Please use the Credentialling Management System to complete the renewal application and pay the training fee.
