The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the virtual training “A.R.C. Storytelling: Moving Your Audience from Attention to Action.” Stories are the currency of humanity. Storytelling is a compelling way for victim services agencies to communicate the important work they do and compel others, including volunteers, donors, funders, and the community, to take action to support the agency’s mission and the survivors they support. During this session, participants will explore audience engagement through storytelling. Organizational leaders will learn to prioritize sensory storytelling and how to build a culture of storytelling within the agency. Participants will receive a framework for developing a story bank. A.R.C Storytelling is perfect for those looking for a blueprint to incorporate storytelling into their work.
