Course Description

The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce the “Elite Level Action: Master Your Time and Create Unstoppable Progress” course.

As a first responder, you’re constantly facing high-pressure situations, demanding schedules, and the weight of making life-or-death decisions. But what happens when the stress of the job starts affecting your ability to perform at the highest levels at work, but also prevents you from moving forward in other areas of life? Procrastination, perfectionism, and overwhelm can hold you back from personal and professional growth, making it harder to set boundaries and build a future that lasts.

This highly engaging training experience is designed to break through those barriers. John Mollura, a former test leader for NASA and elite military programs, candidly discusses the struggles unique to high-performance, where the stakes are literally life and death, and how to elevate performance at work and in personal relationships.

Through guided discussions, real-world exercises, and practical strategies, you’ll gain the tools to manage overwhelm, set firm boundaries, and take intentional action toward the legacy you want to leave—both in your career and personal life.

Topics to be addressed:

  • Procrastination – Why we delay and how to shift from hesitation to execution
  • Perfectionism – How to stop overanalyzing and start making progress
  • Overwhelm – Breaking through stress paralysis and taking small, consistent actions
  • Boundaries – The power of saying no and protecting your time and energy
  • Creating a Legacy – Taking ownership of your future with intentional action
