The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services is pleased to announce “First Line Supervisor Training for Campus Security Officers,” a three-day course for college/university campus security personnel. This course is designed for those that are newly promoted or soon to be promoted to first line supervisor status and will include a discussion of the transition from subordinate staff to supervisor.

This interactive, attendee-driven course will provide opportunities to exchange ideas in preparation for this transition, including coaching and disciplinary scenarios.
The training is intended for Campus Security Officers (CSO) only.
The training hours for all training days will be 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Registration will begin each day at 7:30 AM
Partial In-service Credit (PIC) for security officers will be available.
Participants are responsible for their transportation, lodging, and meals.
Pre-registration is required. There is no cost to attend this training.
