The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce that registration is now available for “Trauma Response and the Criminal Justice System: A Virtual Summit on Knowledge, Healing, and Resilience,” which will be held May 10-14, 2021. This free, online event will feature local and national experts presenting on the intersections of trauma, justice-involved individuals, and the criminal justice system. Appropriate for all professionals across the criminal justice continuum, this Summit will highlight promising practices and emerging trends, as well as practical tools for incorporating trauma-informed responses throughout the criminal justice system. PIC credits are available unless noted.
