Description

The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Virginia Center for School and Campus Safety is pleased to announce the Virginia SRO Connect webinar series. These statewide online meetings are designed to provide a collaborative environment to discuss relevant issues in real time with other SROs and SRO supervisors from across the state. The meetings are conducted via video chat in Zoom allowing participants to share ideas and discuss issues, highlight programs, and announce trainings and resources to support the SRO programs in your locality. DCJS staff will be on hand to moderate and guide the agenda. Specific topics for discussion may be submitted in advance to Kim Simon at kim.simon@dcjs.virginia.gov or by phone at 804-997-1717.

Intended Audience

This series is only open to sworn personnel. The intended audience is SROs, SRO supervisors, and SRO unit commanders. The sessions will run for a maximum of 1 hour.

 

Cost and Registration

There is no fee to attend this webinar series. Pre-registration is required. It is not necessary to register for each date - completion of one registration will enroll you in the entire series.

Registrants will receive an email with instructions for joining the webinar prior to the event.
