The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Virginia Center for School and Campus is pleased to announce this virtual “Duty to Intervene” training presented by Blue to Gold Law Enforcement Training, LLC.
The purpose of this course is to train officers and agencies when they are legally required to get involved. The result will be decreased liability and improved officer wellness. Law Enforcement needs this course as they are prone to liability and work in a highly charged environment. Failure to intervene when necessary will jeopardize your job and freedom. It is not only important to go home at night, but to go home to your own bed, not a prison. This training is a tool, just like your firearm or handcuffs.
While this class is virtual, there will be a live instructor who will answer questions and encourage class participation.

This training is open to sworn law enforcement officers and campus and school security officers.IMPORTANT: Due to the high demand of this training, and limited seats, all registrants are required to provide their direct supervisor’s name, rank and email. If you have to cancel for any reason, please email Chris Scuderi at christopher.scuderi@dcjs.viginia.gov, so persons can be added from the waiting list. NO SHOWS TO THIS TRAINING EVENT WILL RESULT IN SUPERVISOR NOTIFICATION!!
Partial In-service Credit for this course will be available.
