Description
The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services in collaboration with Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA), the United States Department of Justice and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) is pleased to announce the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC) Operation Pipeline Training. This is the basic course of instruction for uniformed patrol officers, detectives, agents or investigators, covering the fundamental principles of criminal roadway interdiction of passenger and commercial motor vehicles.

Who should attend?
This training is open to sworn law enforcement officers only. A Government issued ID will be required. No Walk-ins allowed.
Partial In-service Credit
Partial In-service Credit (PIC) for Virginia law enforcement officers is PENDING
Travel, Lodging & Meals
Participants are responsible for their transportation and lodging arrangements and expenses.
Training Time & Details
Check in will begin at 7:45 a.m. and course will be held from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m each day
Cost and Registration
There is no cost to attend this training, however pre-registration is required.

You may email the State and Local mailbox at EPIC.SLPU@DEA.GOV to register. Send your title, full name, current post of duty, email address and phone number.

You can also register for the class by logging onto https://esp.usdoj.gov. Once on the website, click Jetway/Pipeline training; fill in all the blanks and click Update; Select your training and click on Register. Attendees must have EPIC access to receive a certificate. If you do not have access, you can request access by clicking on the button labeled “Request Access.”
