K-12, Higher Education, and Beyond

As the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Virginia Center for School and Campus Safety (VCSCS) continues to strengthen schools’ capacity for behavioral threat assessment in K-12 and higher education, we are pleased to bring three regional forums to our constituents across the state. In the ever-changing threat landscape, building safer communities through the work of our school, campus, and community teams has never been more critical.

Pre-Forum Sessions: Day One
Workshop sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Check-in will begin at 7:45 a.m. and 12:50 p.m., respectively.
Main Forum: Day Two
Keynote presentations will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m.
Check-in will begin at 7:45 a.m.
Partial In-Service Credit
Law enforcement officers will receive partial in-service credit hours for this forum.
Travel, Lodging, and Meals
Participants will be provided lunch on Day Two of the Main Forum.
Please note: DCJS is not responsible for participant travel and lodging expenses.
Cost and Registration: $25 per person (CLICK HERE TO REGISTER)
Registration fee includes access to our Pre-Forum sessions, Main Forum keynotes, and a boxed lunch on Day Two (the Main Forum).
