The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce the “Public Safety Managers and Supervisors Leadership Development Program."
This in-depth leadership development program provides participants with effective management and supervisory skills essential for success in today’s challenging public safety environment. Practical examples are presented to public safety organization leaders of all ranks to illustrate successful strategies designed to improve organizational effectiveness and morale. Today’s dynamic, ever-changing public safety field makes this course a must for all those who accept the call to lead.

Who should attend?
Law Enforcement and Campus Police Managers - This course is restricted to sworn Law Enforcement
Partial In-service Credit
Partial In-service Credit (PIC) for Virginia law enforcement officers is pending approval.
Cost
There is no cost to attend this training; however, pre-registration is required.
Travel, Lodging, and Meals
Participants are responsible for their transportation, lodging arrangements, and expenses.
Training Time and Details
Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m.
The course will be held from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day
Please note the DCJS registration system cannot sort eligible from ineligible registrants. Therefore, anyone who registers will receive a confirmation. It is the responsibility of the DCJS assigned course director to review the roster and make a final determination on acceptance into the course. Registrants not accepted will be notified via the email address provided during registration.
