In order to continue to progress and expand the knowledge of behavioral threat assessment teams, the DCJS Virginia Center for School and Campus Safety is pleased to announce a new threat assessment webinar that highlights and reviews the important updates to the Model Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines, which was updated in 2020.

Who should attend?
The training is appropriate for members of school threat assessment teams including school administrators, student services personnel, teachers, counseling and mental health professionals, human resources personnel, attorneys, and law enforcement and security personnel; as well as staff from regional community mental health and law enforcement agencies that may be involved in school threat management efforts.
Partial In-Service Credit
Partial in-service credit hours will not be available for law enforcement and campus security officers due to the brief duration of the webinar.

Cost and Registration
There is no fee to participate in this webinar. Pre-registration is required.
Please note that the DCJS registration system does not have the capacity to sort eligible from ineligible registrants. Therefore, anyone who registers will receive a confirmation. It is the responsibility of the DCJS assigned course director to review the roster and make a final determination on acceptance into the course. Registrants not accepted will be notified via the email address provided during registration.
