Grant Program Information: Improving Criminal Justice Response Grant
Source of Funds: The Improving Criminal Justice Response Grant (ICJR) is a discretionary grant awarded to the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services by the Violence Against Women Office, located in the United States Department of Justice.
Purpose of Funds: The Grants to Improve the Criminal Justice Response Program (ICJR Program) assists state, local, and Tribal governments, and courts to improve the criminal justice response to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The ICJR grant program includes the following grant partners: Virginia Office of the Attorney General, Virginia Poverty Law Center, Virginia Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Action Alliance, Virginia Victim Assistance Network, and DCJS.
