The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is pleased to announce the ARPA Regional Jail Equipment Grant Program, funded through a state appropriation of federal funds through the American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”). The funds can be used to purchase equipment that improves or enhances the delivery of daily services to the community and/or ensures the safety of residents and facility staff.
